About Me

Hi, I'm Paige.

I live and work in Virginia, but I spent most of my childhood exploring the woods and creeks of North Carolina, where my love of nature and imagination first took root.

I earned my B.A. in Studio Art from George Mason University while playing drums in a rock band called Desert Sky. After graduating, I spent more than two decades illustrating children's books for publishers including HarperCollins, Penguin Random House, Scholastic, Simon & Schuster, Amazon/Two Lions Press, and many others.

Today I create paintings inspired by quiet moments, gentle stories, and the wonder of childhood. Whether it's a curious fox, a snowy cardinal, or a child gazing up at the stars, my hope is that each piece brings a little comfort, imagination, and joy.

When I'm not painting, you'll usually find me with my two devoted studio assistants, Piper and Cooper. Piper, a Chihuahua, is convinced it's her life's mission to bark at any suspicious noise from at least two states away, while Cooper is much more interested in making sure I take regular snack breaks.

Thank you for visiting my little corner of the world. I hope my artwork brings you as much happiness as it brings me to create it.
